This is a breeding agreement between the above named Stud Owner and the above mentioned Bitch Owner.

For artificial insemination, frozen semen breedings, the stud fee shall be:

The stud fee is payment of the stud service only and is not to be construed as a guarantee of puppies surviving whelping. 

  1. Bitch’s Owner will be responsible for all collection and shipping charges in repeat breeding. Bitch Owner will provide the Stud Owner a pedigree and a copy of the Bitch’s AKC registration. OFA and CERF certificates are required. DNA (PRCD) certificates are also suggested but not required by the Stud Owner.

  3. A photograph of the stud will be provided to the Bitch Owner if requested.

Immediately prior to breeding, the Bitch Owner will provide the Stud Owner with a current certificate signed by a veterinarian or a certified laboratory certifying that the bitch is clear of brucellosis. The Bitch Owner certifies that the bitch has not been bred to any other male dog during this heat cycle, that utmost care will be taken to ensure that she is not bred to any other male dog after this service has been provided, and that the puppies will be given proper care.

The Stud Owner is not required to sign the AKC Litter Registration papers until such time as all reimbursable expenses due to the Stud Owner are paid in full by the Bitch Owner.

Dual sire litters are NOT allowed with my sires.

All pups not kept by the breeder need to go out on limited.  Until all testing, hips, elbows, eyes and genetic testing has been done at age of 2.

Part 3: Artificial Insemination using Shipped Frozen Semen

The Bitch Owner is responsible for charges of the semen collection, semen preparation, shipping container, and all other packaging and handling fees incurred in the shipping of the specimen charged by the veterinarian or storage facility.

The Bitch Owner will provide the Stud Owner with an AKC Certification Form and a completed and signed application for using Frozen Semen. The Bitch Owner is responsible for any charges for the insemination.

Stud frozen Semen: The stud fee includes one breeding dose frozen semen straw. Additional semen may be purchased at the rate of $ __2500.00___________ per straw. The Bitch Owner assumes responsibility for the local storage and documentation fees of the shipped semen.

Part 1: Code of Ethics

The Bitch Owner is expected to abide by the American Chesapeake Club (ACC) Code of Ethics whether or not they are a member of the ACC as well as the rules and regulations set forth by the American Kennel Club (AKC) for the ownership, breeding, and registration of purebred dogs; provide the best of care for their pregnant bitch and the resulting litter; make every attempt to place puppies in appropriate, sound, and secure homes and shall not release the puppies to their new owners until they are at least eight(8) weeks of age. No offspring from this mating are to be offered for sale to or through and pet shop, grooming parlor, humane organization, or any other kennel.
