We are a small family kennel living in western Washington, privileged to carry on wonderful, successful lines. Our dogs have highly accomplished blood lines and we continue this tradition by working hard to title all of our dogs in various fields. Our dogs are known for their phenomenal drives and strong marking abilities, they love their jobs! In their down time they love going to the ocean, lakes, or enjoy being home on our ranches in California.They are extremely versatile dogs with fabulous temperaments. Sleepy Hollow Chespeakes puppies are relaxed at home, eager to perform when competing in AKC or HRC hunt tests, and are confident in the confirmation ring. Best of all, our dogs have a passion for people. All of our dogs hold therapy titles and work in hospitals, hospice facilities, schools, and retirement homes.
We fell in love with Chesapeakes when we got our first one over forty years ago. Our dogs are an important part of our family and as such, all puppies are raised inside our home, usually in our bedroom! This means they get constant love and attention, along with early socialization! At the end of the day, we love all of our dogs and are incredibly blessed to call them our family. We take pride in raising well rounded, versatile, and loving Chesapeake’s. Whether it be hunting, showing, therapy, or companionship, or diabetic service, our dogs do it all.
We breed to better the Chesapeake breed and as such, our puppies are bred on a selective basis. We focus on temperament, drive, pedigrees, and beautiful Chessie coats!
